Abstract
The current research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of coaching theory courses from the point of view of martial arts coaches based on the Kirkpatrick model. The current applied research is a descriptive-survey type of field research. The statistical population consists of all the trainers participating in the theory courses of martial arts coaching in the year 1402-1401. According to Cochran's sample size estimation formula in the statistical population, 384 samples were examined by simple random sampling method. The questionnaire of Estafal Beam's coaching theory courses (2014) translated by Mehrzad Hamidi was used in 19 cases including four topics (reaction, learning, behavior and conclusion) and its reliability was confirmed according to Cronbach's alpha test. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to check the normality of data distribution of community variables. Hierarchical confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the proposed hypotheses. The results in the reaction level of "having freshness, being satisfied, being interested, creating motivation and the way of expressing the content" were at a high level. In the learning level of "evaluation of the course, evaluation of colleagues and use of software and visual effects to present the content" were average. At the level of behavior, "warm and friendly treatment, honoring and respecting the participants, appropriate response of teachers and organizers" were average. At the level of the results, "change in the level of communication with athletes, change and updating of the level of sports information, change in the training process for athletes, addition of technical and specialized points" is above average. The sports managers of the federations should increase the quality and make changes based on the pathology by monitoring and diagnosing the parts that have not been effective and try to improve the quality of the planned training courses. be considered as an essential pillar in the development of sports in the country.
