The model of entrepreneurial human resource development in the Iraqi Basketball Federation

Abstract
Abstract

The purpose of this research was to provide a human resource development model with an entrepreneurial approach in the Iraqi Basketball Federation. The current research method was a mixed research. In this research, the foundation data method was used in the qualitative part. The statistical population of this research was the senior managers of the Iraqi Basketball Federation and according to the objectives of the research and also when the theoretical saturation was achieved, the number of the statistical sample of the research in the qualitative part was selected based on the targeted method and the number of 20 people was selected and the interview continued until the theoretical saturation was reached. found The data collection tool included a semi-structured interview. In the semi-structured interview, game questions containing research objectives were designed to cover background factors, causal factors, intervening factors, central phenomenon, consequences and human resource development strategies in the Iraqi Basketball Federation with an entrepreneurial approach. In order to analyze the qualitative data, coding was used in the form of open, central and selective coding. The results include causal factors with the categories of human capital, entrepreneurial management and support for sports businesses; A central phenomenon with the categories of sports entrepreneurship thinking, sports entrepreneurship behavior, sports entrepreneurship performance; Strategies including individual and organizational strategies; Intervening factors include the administrative and management system; The background factors included the development and encouragement of entrepreneurship and the consequences included the development of sports entrepreneurship. In the end, it is suggested to human resources managers of government sports organizations to use the presented model systematically and to avoid wasting any cost and time for organizational activities by adopting an entrepreneurial approach in the human resources development process.
