Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of gender equality in the Iranian Olympic Movement, emphasizing all aspects of sports. The research was a mixed research in terms of data collection method and an applied research in terms of research objectives. The statistical population included all female managers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the National Olympic Committee, sports federations, and female transnational champions (970 people). First, by using interviews with 38 experts until theoretical saturation was achieved, gender equality factors in the Iranian Olympic Movement were identified. Then, sampling was carried out in the quantitative part in a cluster and purposeful manner, consisting of 336 people. The research tool in the qualitative part included in-depth interviews to build the proposed research model using the Delphi technique, and in the quantitative part, the questionnaire obtained from the qualitative part was used. Data analysis in the qualitative part was carried out using Max Quda software and an interpretive structural qualitative model, and descriptive and inferential statistics were used in the quantitative part. The findings showed that 27 sub-factors and 8 main factors were identified as factors affecting gender equality in the Iranian Olympic Movement, with an emphasis on all aspects of sport, which were: political and legal factors, economic factors, psychological factors, cultural and social factors, educational factors, psychological factors, international factors, technical and technological factors. Based on this, it can be concluded that gender equality in the Iranian Olympic Movement requires an integrated approach that encompasses all psychological, social, international, and technical dimensions. By pursuing these approaches and continuously supporting women's sports, we can pave the way for women's success and greater visibility in sports and ultimately help promote gender justice and equality in society. These changes will not only advance women's sports, but can also lead to the creation of a more just and active society.
